NFS! MEDIEVAL 2!

today was pretty uneventful..

hmm yesterday also.. mostly spent in sch!

the research for FFL (first lego league) that I was in charge about.. well baochen said I had to redo! argh cos the stuff put in is not enough from own input de. as in like too much from the net :P

yeah then rushed to theory lesson, like every friday nowadays lor. cos piano teacher thinks that holidays have more free time, so thurs is practical, fri is theory..

and today! finally got the NFS carbon and medieval 2! medeival 2 just arrived in s'pore yesterday, and NFS carbon just had stocks yesterday, so yeah.. pretty much occupied with em too, other than dotA XD

the manual for medeival 2 is like 60 over pages? and the text size is soooo small. argh =P

yeah and weehao bought really awesome bilabong tees from thailand! THANK YOU so much kay.. couldn't tell they were fakes! then like I called u guys and ur mom told me they're fakes and u spent a long time shopping for 'em... tytytyt so much (:


hmmm so today played mainly these few stuff loh. hmm then in afternoon went to park mall
with parents and aunt to shop for a new sofa and dining table! argh the whole mall like so quiet.. mostly is furnitures de. so yeah good to shop for furniture loh ==

after that then go szechuan court at raffles for dinner!　food is really average, plus we ordered too much, so ended up packing a lot of stuff back home x)

yeah and yesterday was xinni's b'dae! hahaha forgot to wish you! thought you went for the string orc concert somemore.. hmm can tell u had a great time at the party! so HAPPY B'DAE! hope ur "guest of honour" gives u roses more often ahahaha.

oh yah oh yah TC and beef sry about today kay! was having the dotA game halfway then had to urgently leave :PP

battle of wits

today was interesting and boring.. went to cathay cineleisure at orchard to watch battle of wits! or mo4 gong1 in chi I think. by andy lau one.. its good really.

well it talks about ancient chi history, a war or sth. yeah it sounds boring but it seriously isn't!!! so andy lau is this strategist from the mo4 clan and he comes to a town to help defend it against a seemingly undefeatable enemy. yeah so the whole movie keeps u on ur toes as to whats gonna happen nxt.

its like when the mo4 jia1 strategist comes up with a brilliant plan to defend the town, the other army changes its tactic and attacks again. so the whole movie is fast-packed and like very scary.. felt like going toilet halfway but held on till the end, cos no boring part to go ==%

hmmm and went buy tix that time saw ny concert band ppl again?! like 00

then asked rosalind she also say donno.. must be ponners lor. haiz. 4 of them, bad kiddos lmao ;D

after that went for piano, and teacher said needed much more practice.. like duhh. taking the theory exams in march. man ling's taking them in march too! and the registration is tmr and we haven't registered yet?! pretty freaky I guess, but teacher'll help me pay first yup

skating

heya yu fan just pmed me moments ago teaching me the term for those type of shorts. BERMUDAS. hahaha forgotten, so thx yeah! and link me soon u meannie I linked u ages ago xDD OP bermudas, yeah yu fan!

oh andand evon's kayaking outing sounded great! *envious* at saf changi right! somemore got this great carnival coming up! she thinkgs but its not confirmed.. well go read her blog! just linked her blog and her most recent entry about the kayaking sounded totally awesome.. went kayaking with the sch before, and it was great fun, but not half as fun as evon's post ;PP

so yeah anw today went for ice-skating at the ice palce! found out that its pretty much the only ice skating ring in s'pore, so yeah its in jurong center i think.

it opens at 10, so we reached there at like 10.15? guess what! its like SOOO crowded. maybe cos its the only place in s'pore yeah. but seriously there were many many ppl there alrdy!

yeah like vivo the ppl there were pretty cool. mostly teenagers, had a few adults, and those professional skaters with their own customs in line skates and coaches were all damm young can.

till like my waist like that! can't be more than eight nine years old.. its damm weird cause in adelaide it was the same thing too! the amatuers or the newbies are mostly in the teenagers.. and the pros who train for nationals are always damm young!

yeah so my sis long time nvr ice-skate le, so held her hand and guided her loh. same for mom,
had to hold her hand for the first few rounds. and though the ring in adelaide was I think 3-4 times bigger, we had great fun! yeah then at like 11 plus (min is play 2 hours ma), there were even MORE ppl.its like some places of the ring don't even have space to skate lor.


then with nice music blasting in the background.. the ice was quite good actually. no resurfacing though. in the 2 hours that I was there didn't resurface ice.. maybe every 2.5 or 3 hours bah.. had blisters when we left, but it's great really!

my sis's SC friends have been asing her to ice-skate for ages, so its great really :DD

then after that took aunt to eat pork ribs soup? hahaha donno how to translate it properly, but its spelt bak kut teh really.

yeah then came back home the usual stuff lor. heard that o's just over! k fine I'm slow but it was over not too long ago right! hahaha to all those ppl who just finished o's: congrats k! u guys finally made it, and its time for a well deserved break. lol X)

haiz. have been playing mahjong pretty much for the past few days..

cos aunt from HK came over so just nice 4 ppl which means perfect for mahjong! budden have debts of like 130+ points. I like mahjong but not good at it really.

so then er. sunday was nothing much lah. went to sim lim to buy medieval 2 and NFS carbon. but apparently medieval 2 is not released till this thursday? and NFS carbon is out of stock so went home empty handed. apart from window shopping and meeting cool people ==*

yah then in the noon after came back started mahjonging till night.

then yesterday had to go sch real early in the morn.. supposed to chiong for FLL! its like the last robotics comp. we have for 2006. but ended up playing mass dotA blah. played with sec ones and sec twos loh.. but in the end lost every match except the one with zhongzheng. hes like the BEST in dotA in robotics? so kinda weird xPP. talking about that I have a one v one match with baifeng now, shall blog about vivo yesterday later! its ultra nice =DD

yeah so anw was watching rob-b-hood by jackie chan just now. its HILARIOUS. a must-watch. defintely nicer than hard candy =PP.

and vivo! yeah about vivo. went yesterday to shop for ages.. hmm bought a pair of OP shorts! well its not really shorts, but not long either. don't know what you call those stuff .<

and bought the vcd, the banquet! its by ziyi and daniel wu so I guess its not bad. haven't watched that one yet though. cos hols are like boring, so must stock up on VCDs to deal with that (; hope to catch eragon and casion royale this hols! lol.

anw the stuff I bought might sound unimpressive.. but its only cos its such a hard time deciding what to buy! its REALLY REALLY big. I went to challenger and saw that they had stock for NFS carbon! but I bet its more expensive than the price sim lim's selling at, so I guess I'll have to wait..

but other than that. the stuff there is. AMAZING. even the adidas shop there has stuff the suntec or marina one doesn't. same for nike. and they have cool sports shop that sell all those accesories only? and nice bags nice wallets nice pencil cases nice whatever ;P

the clothes also! some brands that's only available there.. the WHOLE s'pore don't have de. amazing right! a lot a lot of nice stuff. cos last time very rush went with the sch mah.

er this time could spend more time looking through. quality stuff all over! xDD clothes desing also very nice, er mini toons is the biggest outlet I think. that day I tried to list out the shops? well its UNLISTABLE. go see for yourself when free! mustmustmustmust go.

then when walk halfway theres this awesome view of sentosa and beyond. fountain also looks nice.. didn't go out there though. plus. the people! throngs and throngs of people. more than parkway or marina or J8 or tampines or suntec. its like everyone in orchard going to that mall!! not exaggerated

and the cool thing is that the whole mall is not even filled! well the shops were certainly more than when I visited around a month before with the school. but still. LOTSA space. can't imagine when they get those spaces filled, how much more people would be attracted xPP

yeah and theres this monorail that goes to sentosa.. but who wants to go to that boring place when theres vivo! food court on top looked great, though we didn't go there. cinnamon ice blended from coffee bean was enough, cos had lunch in sch cos there was robotics in the morn

yupp and sam pang is back from HK! loll going to go there anw.. so yeah heard he had a great time! still arranging the badminton date with him and w.r and m2. hopefully it'll go through. then there'll be movies, shopping, badminton.. hmm bowling kinda fine. kite-flying! did that last dec and loved it :P

but tmr! tmr going jurong town center for ice-skating. cos my siter LOVES ice-skating and I used to totally gross out when i hear about that gay thing.

but in adelaide billie made me ice-skate with her! hahaha she didn't really force me but I was kinda reluctant.. but yeah in the end it was great fun and i got kinda more accustomed to skating? so yupp went I came back bugged my sis to ice-skate! then I can race her and see whos the one whos better at it X)

last time she was like faster than me! and now since I've skated for like 4+ hours in adelaide? fair enough to challenge her right :D found all the gloves and stuff le. minimum to skate over at jurong is 2 hours, so I guess we'll skate for around 3? no idea. but all set to go, am sooo gonna like it heh.

and I guess the badminton game with him has to be arranged at a later date..

yeah so for saturday right. in the morning had piano performance.. at yicha music studio, performed my grade 7 piece. and guess what! I SCREWED UP ><

played sooo much wrong notes. not like I usually screw up to that degree at home! I guess I must've been too nervous.

then after that we went to paragon and ngee an city and walked a long the whole place shopping loh. in the end bought some books and shorts I think.. not much. most of the time accompanying my mom cos its HER b'dae right! lol

then back home I helped my dad changed care tyre! waa its really really hard loh. have to use this cross thingy to unscrew all the nuts in the rim. then have to jack up the car with some ssuper-genius tool that LIFTS the whole car?! at a few thousand kg, so its hard work. then after that carry the 23kg tyre into place, and screw the nuts back, then jack down the car. took like 45 mins..fun though!

then we had the birthday cake duhh. blowing, singing song with my aunt from HK.. my dad bought this RICH CREAMY BANNANA CHOC cake. whoa its really really nice and big and tasty LOL.

then at night go back orchard! to lei garden at orchard centre again to eat with grandparents loh. thats around all, except we came back to watch the M18 show hard candy, which is really a twisted sick physcopath's movie.. quite nice though. the storyline that is, but definitely not the details depicted in it.. that's about all for sat i guess.

well don't feel like blogging for today..tired! walked for vivo for hours.

ahhh. don't have the discipline to continue blogging nowadays.. so much nice things going on! hols are boring yet fun.. ironic i know! yeaps as in like sometimes when nothing to do bored, but a lot of free time to do stuff u like! I guess.

lets start with yesterday bah!

so morn I went for robotics from like 4-5 hours.. nothing much la just programming and researching. competition just round the corner so must hurry abit loh.. basic robot built le. but me and shen nan keep slacking and throw around bball and visit dotA portal oops =PP. oso had to discuss funds to go australia for international comp.. apparently we're running low on funds and also have to find teacher-in-charge.

after that when go poolside have lunch right. saw ny band people! at like 1.30 plus damm late lor. then today asked rosalind she say band timing changed and they were released at 1.. so no surprises there. scare me I thought they pon halfway somemore o.=

yupp then after that rush to piano lesson.. grade 7 theory lesson! have to catch up with whatever I'm lagging behind with during the hols. went with my sis and shes one year younger but learning more stuff than me. so yeah kinda depressing I guess..the new chords and cadences thingy is super cheem.

talkign about that. the music prog I signed up for also no response lor.. samuel keep bugging me but I've no idea how.. anw samuel is like super good hes grade 8 nxt year! of course i noe even proer people out there duhh .< past diploma at 14! sigh.

so after piano we had early dinner then went out for a musical at indoor stadium! notre dame de paris.. its all in french, so perhaps yu fan and baifeng should go xDD. last night was the 3rd-last day though.. tickets are DAMM EX. but worth it! hmmm its this love ttriangle thingy that lasts for 3 hours. very touching, and the vocals are absolutely amazing!!! and the on-stage dance moves are great too! lol its sad, touching, yet an astonding performance too! loll sound so much like a advertiser

well I didn't update yesterday and today hasn't really started so I'll talk about yesterday duhh.

had to wake up real early in the morning to go to the American Maths Competition. the first few questions were still okay but the questions at the end were freaking crazy! so I just guessed the answer.. cos there are like 5 options so I just literally shade the alphabet I like lor ={

then after that I went down bookstore buy books for nxt year.. whoa the queue so long! and now the bookshop don't set up extra tables can! its like exactly the same as it operates usually, no extra people or benches or numbers and stuff. that's why take sooo long. plus they didn't have stocks for some stupid literature books. nxt week when go for robotics training then collect I guess .<

hmmm. after come home and clear up this year's stuff then went out to parkway wif mom and sis.. and wtf its like a weekday but so many people already. mom had to park the car on 7th floor when usually we can park at the fourth!

er. its only secondary that's having the hols lor. can't imagine when pri sch oso release their kids for the hols.. mass crowd! yah then we ate at sakae sushi then there's this a.p waitress who kept rolling her eyes and frowning and sighing when we ordered the food =.-

after that wanted extra spoon then stared at us like we old her money liddat.. wah lao! so we quickly eat finish then go gramophone see CDs lor. mom bought the hacken lee album.. she likes him I think. then me and sis bought like 6 movies to watch cos very sian at home nothing to do ;PP

after that go popular buy some assesment books.. then go there find out the music, books, and games all godamm outdated!!! ahhh. the newest game is like.. project snowblind? newest music is ages ago? newest book is eragon and the 4th book of artemis fowl? dammit la go kinokuniya, challenger, gramophone all heaps newer than popular ;[ maybe only bras basah one then can go

then on the way back we walked by this shop at the side. selling original CD for guess what. SEVEN DOLLARS. real one lor. and have the latest albums by fir, jolin, joi chua, jay chou! all chi albums only but its dirt cheap for some weird reason. then we bought one but go home play end up quality damm bad >< its not imitation! but somehow quality is diff. ahhhhh.

then come home we watched United 93.. its very touching and very sad yet very exciting cos u donno wads gonna happen nxt. go watch! but if you're like those action type or fast-moving ones then the start would be boring.

then I saw the album art of my chemical romance's newest album. well only have 3 good songs inside but the album art is DELICIOUS. the few good things of today =DD

ahhh haven updated for ages. busy with preparations for robotics competition!

the first lego league is like in the first week of december. and I haven't started on the research which is like one whole presentation and website about nanotechonology?! I'm the researcher of the team and have to find out this practical problem in nanotechnology and then come up with hundreds of stupid wowing solutions.. throw in the website and powerpoint that we have to present to the judges. uber lame I know .<

and then other than going back to sch for that. theres piano which I have to catch up with.. theory too! missed 4 lessons because of adelaide trip. nid catching up duhhh. so bz practicing lor. and I have yet to go vivocity again ahhhh! missing it badly like I miss adelaide :P

andandand. of course theres the games hehehe X)). its holidays so busy lan gaming with my usual friends lor.. ahhh russ you have to update! theres a point in updating k! everyone seems to be not updating during the hols instead. WEIRD ><

and today right. went to sim lim to buy the new 8GB nano! damm its like my 6th mp3 I think. I keep spoiling it ='( well but this type I bought the crystal casing! as what justin have suggested.. cos he says if use silicon casing its much softer and weaker (albeit cooler xPP). anw its safer now so ppl like joon fai can't break my ipod anymore xDD.

other than that is some bball and badminton games and test drive lor.. boring but not boring =DD.

heh today was a bz day as expected. dad came back from malaysia too.

anw the whole afternoon was spent on the briefing! cos we're gonna mentor those pri sch kids tmr.. means today had to finalise the camp stuff and agree on the itineary. PLAIN BORING. the rest of the day was also chao sian.. lol its only the start of the hols and so sian. that's why look foward to the movies with hg and the robotics competition and the aussie students coming over X)

other than that nothing much. msn, badminton, soccer, xbox, maple, dotA I guess. and work in between. theres american maths competition nxt wk! and piano of course. donno how the music program is coming along haven't received any notices so far .<

yupp and b4 went to the briefing.. my nicest dad brought me to a big huge carpark. FOR WhAT?

TO LET ME DRIVE A CAR DUHH. its great cos this carpark has no traffic and little cars. its an open carpark near the beach! so its aweseome when we change sides and he lets me drive. he comments that my turning is no good ;(

but I could turn and accelerate and brake with a REAL CAR k! nice man. and reverse and signal and park too! heaps fun I'm gonna bug him for my 2nd time if time allows.. haha in austrlia its 16 years old before driving licenses are gotten.. but I'm 14 rmb ;DD

wow I keep going on about how cool adelaide is, but still haven't made a journal of the entire stay there! .. all the great times we had..and I won't bother to ever do it =PP. it'll be so very tedious since every moment there is so hard to put into words. plus ppl like tian ci and bing has their own journals at their blogs, so go read theirs! it'll be nicer to read than mine anw x)

bascially my host is billie and shes funny and cute.. shes 15 and shes in year 9 and she plays tennis and netball for a club. her mom is called helen, shes a nurse I think, while her bro is called Jake who studys in the university of adelaide. they're a great, nice family and apparantly they hosted this japanese girl called yumi on another exchange program with japanese schs in 2004, which is why they are so good to me too x)

today was pretty boring like the past 2 days. maple, msn, blog surfing, xbox, and later have to go the talent development program briefing at the education branch. its 2.30 to 5.30 which means I'll be offline when most of my aussie contacts are on. awww man ;PP
