9.8.07

i just finished a dotA match with beef and TC and zx lol..
im supposed to be watching national day
but yeah, as i said
deprivation-of-blogging means mad posting sprees.

apparently training tmr's cancelled cos the school gates are not gonna even freaking open.

that means being stuck at home again..
well actually im grounded till eoys
and the fact that i got to go out this 2 days, its good enough.

ytd was secrets, with friends, at westmall.
today was disturbia, with family, at great world

i swear to god my heart skipped quite a few beats throughout the movie
sure its funny, sure its (very) romantic, sure its thought-provoking
but the fear-instilling scenes dominate the whole movie.

even dad's spooked out

but at least the storyline wraps together nicely
sub-plots make sense too.
yesterday i loved the company of friends
today i loved the movie.

but afterwards i thought:
why does Shia LaBeouf pick up all the chicks?
he had megan fox in transformers alr
and this time he has..another cute sweetheart.

&this time the make-out scenes are hotter
Shia LaBeouf's a talent man
even james bond will be jealous of his female leads..

Shia Labeouf and Jessica Alba? not a very far-away prospect honestly
the scary part of suburbia though, is very scary
my sis watched it at cineleisure today
freakedout ftw man.

we went for lunch after that, then walked around
crowd at great world's not really cool..
its not near any MRTs or what, so the crowd's more mature i guess
parents, with kids, even teenagers
like me.

but that's better than being grounded i suppose
we were looking at handphones
then suddenly i felt this arm brush my back

i turned around to see this old hag pointing to her granddaughter,
"hey get this phone la! $42 only and look so nice. why have to think so much"

her daughter looked JCish already can
i gave her (the ah ma) a stare
and noticed that girl nodding her head absentmindedly
so this is how people spend Singapore's birthday.

well the girl looked nice and all though;
bringing her grandma out holding her hand walking around patiently

then we went to ask the counter where the CD shop was cos what does my sis wants to watch?
guess.

"Mr. Bean's Holiday"

she told us there was a THAT CD SHOP down at basement 1
and it looked really posh and all
so mom said
'whoa this place looks so highclass, the stuff here must be expensive'

i gave her that look:
oh man, a CD shop with better ambience than the rest and you call it high class! so ch..

she frowned then i laughed out loud.

and yes i really laughed out loud when i found out there was NO vcds in the entire store.
i walked up to the salesgirl and ask
you guys have any VCDs here?
"DVDs"
so there are no DVDs?
*looks up from her nails*
"no"

so after my dad listend to jimmy chan's imba piano pieces (much more realistic than secret mind you)
he walked out saying it wasn't worth it.
"at least we got to test it though, won't waste money"

i made down a mental note, posh-looking places expects you to play poshed-up prices.
like. $30 for a movie mind u
with what?

big speakers playing cool songs, wooden floor, dim lights, artistic staircases, shiny CD racks, and it goes on.

my dad was like "nvm la just get the DVD"
well at least i bothered to explain:

lol and what are the behind-the-scenes for?
see Mr. Bean screw up his take 2 scene 2 and laugh out one more time?
see the bonus scenes where Mr. Bean's bear amazingly jumps into a pool of fire and survive?
or see Mr. Bean's deleted scenes where he slaughters schoolchildren and impales their bodies into a thousand piecies before they took the scene out deciding that it was too violent?

well at least they laughed at my insight

so we did a hundred and forty km an hour down the ECP to stop at this small cornerstore at katong mall
i did my piano recital there during june..

in the end we got deathnote I and II, mr bean's holiday, and the last dance.
movies to fill up time during this 4 day break.

and unlike some rich people who systematically list out their expenditure for the day, i won't list prices.
all i'll say is that the prices for the CDs were dirt cheap.

come on, blogs can be used in any way you like, as i've said in one of my earlier post.

but blogs ain't where you give a detailed spreadsheet on how much you've spent with your girlfriend for the day. we know you're rich, we know you're cool, we know you're commited, but please, spare us the price tags.

say what you want, and if you're rich, anyone can tell.

i almost wanted to get prison break for EIGHTY DOLLARS,
but i decided against it. super busy these days

i upload pics of my dad's new toy, HONDA CIVIC TYPE-R,
but whats the point when this place is dead.

u get the whole point do you?
bragging sucks.

then afterwards me&dad went to gym
the one at national stadium?
cos its gonna close down in 2 months, with the demolishing of the current stadium
so yeah we went there to work out, train abit..

his race is in a few weeks, and everytime he races in his LOTUS ELISE,
he complains of muscles aches lol
gotta keep in shape.

that's where my post this morning about working consistently comes in.
work at it tirelessly, continually,
& only then that things work out.

after the gym we went to kfc, the one at stadium
super nearby, especially when you factor in how my dad handles a car.
we saw all the army personnel, stationed

there were wagons, jeeps, satellite dishes, tents, buses, all over
apparently they're setting up some sort of command post outside the stadium
absolutely empty inside though:
the gym's located at one of the wings, and we can see the vast green of the track

national stadium's completely empty, silent.
how oxymoronic

on a pleasant note, we spotted the building of a new MRT station there in progress
the stop's called "stadium" if im not wrong.
they're still building it

well its great news as long as it opens asap.
no more having to stop and paya lebar, which is really a 15min busride from my house
before they relocated the stadium,
every single year, my house had one of the best views of the fireworks around.

its telling why we went all the way to towerclub this year and the previous one just to catch the fireworks.

point is, my house's super close from the stadium

at KFC, we bought the FAMILY FEAST.
cos my dad wanted the eight piece chicken,
but KFC markets them at 2.40 a PIECE.

so yeah obviously the meal was much cheaper

while we were buying, this girl with a whore's dressing kept looking
its like, you can feel the stare on your back.
& everytime i turn, she'll look away,
as if she wasn't looking at my back previously,
pulling down her dress non-stop.

does she have a fetish for guys with socks that are seriously 10 inches high, wet&smelly from the gym, totally disfigured hair wearing a blank white tee with nothing but shorts to cover his legs?

these people are more freaky than the murderer from disturbia i tell you.
when leaving, she finally makes eye contact, watching you leave

maybe it was the car?
maybe.

damm this is one of the longest post ever
post-hiatus syndrome?

well my next relaspe will (minimum) be in a few (hundred) weeks time

now, time for fried chicken wings, then ndp parade, then piano, then my paper on climate change, then prisonbreak2
